New Ingredients: Goya pigeon peas, sazon, recaito, and fresh chorizo



I nearly forgot to mention these new items, but here they are. All to make arroz con gandules. I'd purchased the peas and sazon quite a while ago and cannot remember what I paid for them. A wild guess would be $5 for both. The recaito though, was $2.69 for 12 oz.

Fresh chorizo was also purchased ($1.08 for just less than 1/2 lb), but I neglected to image that. Whoops!

We'll see how the rice turns out!!
