I had a hard time selecting a sausage for a recipe. Having worked in a meat-packing plant, I know too much about sausage and the process of making it. Relying on the fact that no mechanically-separated chicken was listed in the ingredient statement, I purchased this package.

I am so jealous! Here in NYC, I can't get sausage like that for less than $6.99/package.
That is, in a word, robbery!
Either prices have gone up or I happened to buy it on sale last time, but today a package of Aidell's sausage at Ralph's was $5.99. Though cheaper than in NYC, I couldn't help but be miffed!
