Sure does! And it takes less than a week. What could be more exciting than that? How about the fact that the grounds left in the filter get moldy too. Mmm!
Laura, considering your recent bug issues, I completely understand your concern! Trust that I got rid of the moldy grounds AND the permanent filter immediately.
Careful... the grounds supposedly attract roaches, so don't leave them there.
