Siamese Express Fried Rice Leftovers

There's a place I go for lunch once in a while called Siamese Express. It's a Thai place and I really like their noodle dishes. Those wide noodles are yummy. Because I had a potluck for class, I opted to get fried rice from Siamese Express as they have a wide variety.

I picked up two orders of vegetable fried rice, one meaty fried rice and one seafood fried rice.

Normally, I wouldn't even consider eating leftovers from a potluck.
But less than 10 people brought food to partake in. And the rice turned out to be really good. Almost as good as their noodles.

I killed what was left from the potluck alongside some Alabama BBQ Chicken. A sort of weird combo especially since what was left of each type of fried rice was combined by the teacher during clean-up, but it worked.

I must've been really hungry because now that I wrote that last sentence I'm wondering how I was able to eat it at all. I ate leftover potluck fried rice.

Four orders of fried rice, $32.45 OTD.

Thai Bite: Pad Ga-Prow with Chicken

While photographed in a different setting than the Thai Bite Pad-Ga Prow with Beef, the ingredients are the same, but with the exception of chicken. I say the chicken tops the beef.

You know what's funny? Exactly a year ago I had Thai Bite leftovers!
You know what's sad? My photography has not improved.

Thai Bite Leftovers

Yesterday my coworkers and I went out to Thai Bite to celebrate a birthday. I'm having what was leftover for lunch today.

This is Pad Ga-Prow, a stir-fry of basils, multiple peppers, and other vegetables including mushrooms, carrots and zucchini, in a peppery-garlic seasoned brown sauce.  Usually I choose chicken for my meat, but this time I was talked into the beef.

Thai Bite's lunch menu offers 27 selections to choose from, your choice of meat and heat level (1-5).  Each selection comes with soup, salad and rice and the main course comes with your choice of meat -- for $8.95!

Every time we go to this Thai place, I walk away with a to-go box with this much food left!
