Pork Shoulder Blade Steaks



Because there was a recipe calling for pork blade steaks in my latest Cooking Club mag, I rolled with it even though they were not on sale.

Each of the two family packs looked like this when unwrapped:


So you have a good idea of the size of the steaks, this is a pack of them on the broiler rack.


And if you're wondering where pork shoulder blade steaks come from, imagine this Cuban Roast Pork but instead of a cooked roast, raw and sliced.


Yep, it's simply bone-in pork shoulder butt roast, sliced, bones and all.
