Now that I'm conscious of the fact that some sour creams have more ingredients than others, I look for Daisy brand specifically when I need some.
And when the only Daisy container is much more than the some I need, the alternatives are more closely examined. Stater Bros. sour cream has cultured pasteurized milk, cream, nonfat milk, and enzyme.

Alright, so it's diluted cream with enzymes to do the souring. Fair enough. If it had pectin or corn syrup in it I'd have gone with the bigger Daisy container.

Peeling away the safety seal, it looks like Daisy. And it tastes like sour cream.
