The little package of pepitas I bought last time was enough for one batch of caramels and a little snacking. This time I went to Where the Nut Bags are Big and Inexpensive.
This one pound bag has about 3.75 cups of pepitas, so I should be able to make a few things in addition to the next batch of caramels.
Oddly, these look longer and narrower than the other ones.
Raw Pepitas found in the nut section of Trader Joe's for $6.49/lb.
