We've seen Boar's Head pancetta before on this blog. That ain't nothin' new.
My comment today is just on this: I asked for a quarter pound of pancetta. The guy behind the counter asked me if this was right.
The look on my face caused him to explain that he didn't have a conversion chart. Speechless, I just took it. I was not sure what to make of that.
