
Do you remember when the applesauce section of the store had about three different jars? There'd be two different brands and one of them had a chunky option or maybe it had cinnamon.

I spent about as much time in the applesauce section reading labels as I do in the jelly/jam/preserve section. It was a little out of hand.

This one came home with me because it's apples like my mama used to make. No bullshit.

Kroger no sugar added natural applesauce in the canned fruit aisle at Ralph's for $1.99 a 25-oz jar. That makes each of six servings about $0.33.
