Nick's Pizza

We decided on pizza for dinner and after our Pizza D'Oro excursion, rolled with Nick's Pizza.

The large pie fit nicely in the box and had thick pieces of ham, fresh mushrooms, chopped onions, pepperoni and black olives:

And look at that thick golden crust!

The photo of the slice isn't the greatest, but you can certainly see how thick the crust is. It's that thick even where the overflowing cheesy toppings hide it. When a slice was selected, it drooped a little from the weight of toppings, but it certainly didn't sag. Mmm!

I do wonder if they sprinkle some sort of salt (garlic salt?) on the crust before toppings are put on. Sometimes, the pie can be saltier in some spots and once in a while a tad too salty. Regardless, a great pizza.

As always, one slice from the 16" pie fills me.

$19.31 plus toke OTD.
