Dry Black Beans



I've never used dry beans before.  Dry beans are sort of intimidating because there is the soaking and picking of "bad" beans, whatever they look like. The soup recipe I'm going to try doesn't call for any of that mumbo-jumbo.  Hooray for Crock-Pots! Apparently, they miraculously make those bad beans good!
