This time when I needed Italian style diced tomatoes, I made sure to read the labels and selected one that didn't have any corn syrup added.
And look, S&W diced tomatoes look like tomatoes instead of sauce with some tomatoes like the store brand. And is that garlic? I believe it is.
S&W Italian Recipe Diced Tomatoes with Garlic, Oregano and Basil available in a 14.5-oz can in the canned vegetable aisle at Ralph's for $1.59. Nearly double the price of the store brand, I think it's worth it.
