Broiler Roasted Asparagus



In case you were wondering about that asparagus in the photo with the last chicken dish, I roasted it in the broiler. It was stupid simple.

1/2 lb asparagus, trimmed
olive oil to drizzle or spritz
salt and pepper, to taste

Spread asparagus across a sheet of foil about the length of a broiler rack; spritz with olive oil, turning to coat.


Transfer asparagus and foil to broiler rack set closest to the flame. Broil 3-4 minutes or until asparagus is bright green and just fork-tender.


Salt and pepper to taste; serve.


Exceptional.
