When I made chicken stock last time, I used the majority to make Onion Soup. The rest went into the quilted jars I had available.
This time I needed more jars and went with the plain jars over the
quilted. Not for any reason, just for variety I guess.
I stuck with the 1-cup volumes because they are very convenient, fitting into the freezer like jigsaw puzzle pieces with everything else in there, and the small quantities thaw very quickly.
