Shun Paring Knife

Submitting my paring knives, a regular one and a sheep's foot, for sharpening at Chef's Toys meant I needed a fill-in.

Thankfully, the clamshell package was easy-open. I was afraid I'd have to go Larry David on it.

It's like a miniature chef's knife.

Honestly, considering what I paid for this thing, I wonder sometimes if maybe having two chef's knives and a handful of cheap (as in the $3 paring knives) would be a better buy. I'm on the fence about it. Maybe I should buy a cheap one and compare...
