Food Plan and Grocery List, 041810

Between taxes trying to do me in and a lack of asparagus, I didn't complete the last food plan.  This week I'm going to prepare that last menu item and a couple new ones.

The line-up:
  • Risotto with Sausage and Asparagus (we have sausage left from last time)
  • Pasta Primavera with Walnuts
  • Smoked Paprika-Spiced Chicken Thighs with Tzatziki Sauce
    • Spring Cucumber Salad
  • Across the Border Tequila Shrimp
    • Cilantro-Lime Rice
  • Korean Chili-Paste Spicy Chicken
    • steamed rice and kimchi
The groceries; like last week, I included stuff that is not necessarily required for our dinner plans:

Henry's Market:
I don't normally shop here, but the thighs were on sale for $0.99/lb, which is a dollar less than when they are on sale at other places! The asparagus here was pretty thick and I prefer the skinnier ones currently available at Grower's Direct.  I bought a bunch because I wanted to try the thicker ones in the risotto repeat.
