ConAgra Mills Harvest All-Purpose Flour

At the time, I thought this was a good idea. I had 50 cups of pumpkin puree in the freezer and it just made sense to go on a baking frenzy.

Look, a quarter cup is a serving and there's 378 servings! Uhhh. Hmm. Yeah.

When I brought the bag home, I had doubts about how quickly I'd go through this 25-lb bag.

I had doubts that I'd be able to store it once opened.

Well, at least there's way to use all-purpose flour in self-rising flour recipes. Maybe that'll help. I don't remember the last time I saw a recipe calling for self-rising flour...

I went ahead anyway, popping the big duckbill on the top of the package open.

It took me a minute to figure out you just pull the duckbill apart.

And commenced to pouring the flour.

Into not one,

but two giant (10.6 qt or 10 L) Sterilite containers.

ConAgra Mills Harvest Enriched Bleached Hotel and Restaurant All-Purpose Flour, available in the baking aisle at Costco in a 25-lb bag for $7.70. That makes each of the 94.5 cups about $0.08 or each of the 378 servings of 1/4 cup about $0.02.
